In her role as Design Principal at London Legacy Development Corporation, Gwenaël ensures the delivery of quality places across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, East London. She has managed award-winning multi-disciplinary design teams and worked closely with developers and other stakeholders to deliver large-scale mixed-use projects and smaller meanwhile and retrofit projects. She recently led the publication of LLDC’s latest Design Quality Policy which sets out design requirements for built- and natural-environment projects, encompassing sustainability, inclusive design, engagement and social value, and is currently working with the GLA to shape best practice for the delivery of quality neighbourhoods across London.

Gwenaël is an architect who, before joining the public sector, worked in private practice on a range of projects including masterplanning, housing, education, workspace, stadia, and retrofit. She is a member of Southwark’s Design Review Panel.
