Alpa is an architect interested in a built environment that serves communities. In her role as Head of Strategic Planning and Design at the London Borough of Waltham Forest, Alpa is responsible for embedding inclusive, high quality design within the organisational culture, within planning policy and ensuring its implementation across the borough’s built environment. Alpa has worked in practice and taught on a number of architecture courses, she currently teaches at London School of Architecture and examines for ARB. She is a Churchill Fellow and a Trustee of The London Society.
