Gareth has over 20 years’ experience in housing, estate renewal, urban design, and modern methods of construction. He is passionate about retrofit and how we innovate to develop more inspiring, sustainable and thriving communities.

He leads the practice’s residential and urban design projects, which span a variety of scales and typologies. His current work includes sensitive urban infill in Wembley, a landmark residential tall building in East London, and the transformation of three large industrial sites in Sheffield—working in collaboration with Sheffield City Council and Homes England—to create characterful new places to live and work.

After graduating he joined shedkm architects and worked on the RIBA award winning Moho and Chimney Pot Park projects for Urban Splash and prior to GPAD, was Senior Associate and Design Quality Lead at Metropolitan Workshop.
