Heyne Tillett Steel
Kelly has over fifteen years’ experience as a structural engineer and since joining Heyne Tillett Steel in 2008 has worked on a wide range of schemes across all sectors and at all scales. HTS has extensive experience of refurbishment work, with Kelly having led several award winning Listed Building and heritage projects, including Grade II listed office developments in the West End and a new intervention in the Science Museum which won a Structural Award in 2016.
More recently Kelly has extended a Grade II* existing school building at Charterhouse and is currently working towards achieving planning for a notable Grade II listed baths. She has been working on several commercial developments, specialising in engineered timber design minimising additional load on historic fabric and creating attractive and inspiring workspaces.
She regularly speaks at national and international conferences and about timber engineering and has recently written articles and is on the Advisory Board for TRADA, the Timber Research and Development Association and the NSC Steel Magazine.
