Allies and Morrison
Alex Wraight is a Partner at Allies and Morrison. He joined the practice in 2000, having previously worked in Dublin and Malaysia. He is currently leading a multi-disciplinary team on the design of the Cultural and Education District at Stratford Waterfront in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Alex has been responsible for Allies and Morrison’s projects at Paddington Central since our competition win, with a previous developer, in 2008. Now working with British Land, this has culminated in the recent completion of Four Kingdom Street, a 140,000 sqft speculative office building and developing proposals for its neighbour, Five Kingdom Street.
Notable projects in the City include the Stirling Prize shortlisted collaboration with OMA for Rothschild Bank and 100 Bishopsgate, a 40-storey commercial tower for Brookfield that is currently under construction. He was also a pivotal member of the team that delivered Bankside 123, a 1,200,000 sq ft mixed use development adjacent to Tate Modern, which won regional and national BCO awards for Corporate Workplace and an RIBA Award in 2008.
