Ada Yvars Bravo studied architecture at ETSAB in Barcelona. Ada has since worked at Carlos Ferrater Architects in Barcelona. Ada then tutored with Florian Beigel Architects in London and worked at Stirling Prize winning architect David Chipperfield Architects where she was responsible for The Francis Bacon Studio, London, The MACLA office building in Barcelona and The Rothschild’s House, in New York.
Ada is a co-founder of Mangera Yvars Architects (MYAA). MYAA is an international award winning architectural design practice providing architecture, interior, landscape and masterplanning. Operating through offices in London, Barcelona and Asia and with a presence in Saudi, MYAA is focused on culture and led design, identity, place and context.
Her recent projects include The Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies at Education City in Doha, a Cultural centre in London, a new Arts and Culture District, a mixed use mega project in Jeddah Creek, Luxury Housing in Barcelona, a new city district in Jeddah, a FIFA World Cup Stadium, expo 2020 and two Eco Resorts in Abu Dhabi and another on amongst Mangroves on Jubail Island.
The practice has won numerous international awards and Ada was recently shortlisted for the Moira Gemmill Emerging Woman Architect of Year sponsored by The Architectural Review and Architectural Journal.
